Apatite Crystal is known for the Greek word apate, which means 'deceit', considering that Apatite is comparable in look to many different minerals. Apatite describes a set of similar isomorphous hexagonal phosphate minerals. The primary Apatite group consists of Fluorapatite, Chlorapatite, and Hydroxylapatite. The extended Apatite supergroup describes additional minerals including Pyromorphite, Mimetite, and Vanadinite, but those are defined for my part in this manual.
