Presenting this lovely sculptural specimen of impressive colorful Microcline Feldspar from the northern area of Pakistan. It featuring a well crystallized twinned crystals with perfect termination and fine crystal quality. Its very well composed and crystalized all around showing great quality marble luster. It has an interesting iron-oxide creamy yellow color coating which make it pretty attractive and colorful. It's an indeed a pretty neat and eye-catching example for the specie in such formation and aesthetic visuals.

Microcline Description

Feldspar Microcline is one of the most common feldspar minerals. it can be colorless, white, cream to pale yellow, salmon purple to purple, or shiny green to blue-green. Microcline forms quick prismatic or tabular crystals that are regularly of sizeable length: single crystals can weigh several lots and reach yards in the period. Crystals are often multiply twinned, with two sets of fine lines at proper angles to each other. This offers a “plaid” effect that is precise to microcline some of the feldspars. Microcline also can be big. The mineral occurs in rich rocks, such as granite, syenite, and granodiorite. it is discovered in granite pegmatite's and in metamorphic rocks, which include gneisses and schist's.
