Lovely Isolated Gem Celestite Crystal On Calcite

Presenting this new find of blue color Celestite recently acquired from Dara-i-Laman district, at the Badghis province, Afghanistan. This particular specimen is an incredible example, featuring impressive 5 cm high crystal nicely positioned on creamy white Calcite matrix. The main crystal has magnificent saturated blue color with orthorhombic form in compact crystal quality. The crystal is very well crystalized all around with fine edges and indeed well composed in contrast of matrix. No repair, no stabilization, damage free.
