Kunzite is pink variety of spodumene named after famed mineralogist George Frederick Kunz. This is a striking and sculptural example for the species in such unusual form. Its a complete floater double terminated piece showing saturated pink color. It has magnificent vitreous luster, very good transparency and interesting crystallography. The long elongated and highly textured crystal shooting out of striated kunzite base. It's an indeed incredible example for the species and interesting formation. No repair, no stabilization !
